This isn't really a diary.

WYFP is our community's Saturday evening gathering to talk about our problems, empathize with one another, and share advice, pootie pictures, favorite adult beverages, and anything else that we think might help. Last Saturday I got the chance to attend a private fund raising event with a real maverick, my Senator, Russ Feingold.

Hope I'm not stepping on any toes here....

Okay, I'm dead tired but what the hell...

Russ start off talking about how he only got three hours of sleep thanks to some Senate shenanigans. Some sort of procedural thing involving lots of rapid fire votes, didn't catch the term he used.

So Russ is holding his annual listening session for my county.

"When they (Army officials) came to our door my wife didn't want them to come in. She said he (James) was home. There was no reason for them to come in," McDonald said.

McDonald's funeral was held in Neenah on Tuesday.

James McDonald, who had been in the military five years, received several awards, including the Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.

So why do we do it?

Okay, this is only my second diary I've posted but I'd like to see others reactions to Al on Larry King.
