We Are The Next Refugees

I had a short, bitter conversation with the younger of my two sibs. The "rebate" being issued by Shrub's Merry Men, aka the Federal Reserve Counterfeiters, came up for discussion from the start.
My sib asked, "Now here our government issues foreign aid to countries, and never asks to be repaid. But they're giving us money against our own taxes this year, and we've got to pay that back. How is that fair?"
I had to go look it up, because I wanted to be certain he wasn't pulling an urban legend out of thin air.
I checked this link--U.S. Foreign Aid Profiles--and from what I can see, the U.S. government provides money to foreign governments in grant form and through the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The grants go towards the purchases of U.S. goods and services, supposedly to free up countries' money that would otherwise go towards those things so they can use it to improve life for their citizens. (Can I get a, "Shyeah, RIGHT!"? Yeeeeaaahhh, baby.)
The IMF is another thing entirely, but I'm not going into that. I need a hazmat suit to delve too deeply into that sewage vat.
It's no surprise to me that most of that money goes towards the purchase of more guns, more weapons, and more military training. The U.S.--Building The Very Best Banana Republics Our Money Can Buy. In Business Since The Somoza Dictatorship!
But when I read the information on the other end of this link, I realized that our government isn't really cheating us. They're treating us like allies. They're giving us money to buy our own goods and services! It's just up to us to figure out how to get out of paying it back. Too bad we can't reapply for this kind of foreign aid.
Kind of makes you see just how this Administration see us all. Refugees in our own country. So praise the Lord and pass the formaldehyde-filled trailers, brothers and sisters! The Foreign Aid check's in the mail.
. . . yeah, nobody else in the household took it well either.
